Update for June and July: All Upcoming Appointments
As you can imagine, we have had to postpone many appointments due to the state of emergency and the stay-at-home orders. Your patience and understanding during this time has been greatly appreciated. We would like to update you on these recents steps we have implemented in response to the COVID-19 emergency.
We are committed to protecting the safety of our patients, staff, and the general public while mantaining high quality care at our clinic. We will be rescheduling all appointments that were missed from Tuesday, March 17 through June 30th. Our staff are currently reaching out to you to reschedule these appointments for a later date. The office has put forth the following protocols as recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology, Michigan State Medical Society, and the CDC.
The office is open from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:30am to 4:00pm on Fridays.
For non-urgent concerns, such as medication refills, please contact us at 616-248-8864 and leave a message with your full name, date of birth, phone number, and request. Messages are checked daily and are responded to promptly.
For urgent concerns, please call 616-248-8864 between 8:00am and 4:00pm from Monday through Friday to schedule a telemedicine visit. We are screening patients based on the urgency and acuity of your need for a face-to-face encounter. As always, after-hours calls will be forwarded to your provider through our answering service.
Upcoming Office Appointments:
Please be aware that our office staff have been working diligently to reschedule all postponed appointments. Unless you have an emergency, you do not need to call or email the office to schedule. A staff member will be contacting you directly to ensure that all needed appointments are rescheduled. Please note that patients will be screened for COVID-19 over the phone and at the time of their appointment.
If you or anyone in your family is feeling ill please do not come to the office. Call us to reschedule.
We ask that only the patient attend the appointment. (If necessary, a parent or guardian may escort their minor child).
Anyone entering the building will be required to wear a mask at all times.
A clinical staff member will meet each patient in the lobby where they will take patient’s temperature, have them use hand sanitizer, and re-screen them with the COVID-19 questionnaire prior to taking them into the office for their visit.
We ask that each patient monitor social distancing practices while in the office. For the time being, our waiting room is closed. Please return to your car after you have been checked out from your appointment.
Our office staff are always available to answer any financial, insurance, or scheduling questions you may have. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Thank you for your support and understanding during this time of transition.
We look forward to seeing all of you soon!
