Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure for your skin. An instrument is used to shave away the uppermost layers of your skin. It can reduce the appearance of acne scars or other skin imperfections by revealing newer, undamaged skin. Some people also get dermaplaning for temporary hair removal.
Dermapeel is an exfoliation treatment a step above a microdermabrasion or chemical peel. Dead skin cells are gently scraped from your face, and then a peel is performed, followed by a carbon dioxide ball. Dermapeels leave the skin feeling soft and smooth. These are great for skin rejuvenation and sun damage but are not recommended for acne-damaged skin. This treatment may cause mild redness, but cosmetics may be applied immediately after treatment. The peeling that occurs later is mild and gradual.
Using the brand-new Elite IQlaser technology, we can provide permanent hair reduction. Laser light is used to target and destroy hair cells responsible for hair growth without harming the surrounding tissue. The Elite IQ uses Skintel, which reads the pigment in your skin to calibrate the laser according to your skin color. Note that multiple treatments will be required to receive optimal results as your hair grows in several phases. Faces, chests, underarms, backs, abdomens, arms, legs, and bikini areas may be treated.
Laser treatment may help reduce the visibility of scars, such as those left by acne, stretch marks, and old injuries. Laser treatment is also used to lighten or remove unwanted or abnormal blood vessels on the face.
Frequently Asked Questions about Laser Treatment for Scars
Non-ablative laser therapy of the face treats fine lines and boosts collagen production. We use a fractional laser to send microbeams through the epidermis, the topmost layer of the skin, into the dermis, the layer beneath it. This laser stimulates the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue to replace the outer damaged, aging layer. Before performing this treatment, we apply a numbing cream to reduce sensitivity. Resurfacing is ideal for treating sun damage and acne scars; it improves the skin's overall tone and texture. There is minimal downtime post-procedure.

Microdermabrasion is an exfoliation treatment that uses a gentle abrasion tool and vacuum to remove the dead outer layer of your skin. This treatment leaves your skin smooth and promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells. It is excellent for rejuvenation, sun damage, and minor acne scars. Microdermabrasion is most commonly performed on the face but is also great for arms, chests, necks, and backs. There is little to no downtime following this treatment, and cosmetics may be applied immediately.
The microneedling treatment involves the use of fine needles to create microscopic punctures in the skin, stimulating the skin's natural healing process. This process promotes the production of new collagen and elastin, resulting in improved skin texture, tone, and firmness. The treatment is customizable, allowing for tailored approaches to address specific skin concerns, and can be used on various body parts, including the face, décolleté, arms, legs, back, and abdomen. The increased collagen and elastin production lead to enhanced skin support, firmness, and rejuvenation.
Using our Max G Icon IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), we perform photorejuvenation, which uses optimized light to deliver energy targeted to red and brown areas. Photofacials improve the look of sunspots, age spots, rosacea, capillaries, and hemangiomas. There is little to no downtime following this treatment, and it may be performed on your face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs.
Radiofrequency microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that utilizes fine needles combined with radiofrequency energy to rejuvenate facial skin. Through the precise delivery of radiofrequency energy, this treatment stimulates the body’s natural restorative processes, facilitating the generation of new, healthy skin cells. This process promotes the production of collagen, which can contribute to the improvement of skin texture and firmness, potentially reducing the appearance of skin imperfections such as acne scars and wrinkles. This technique offers a minimally invasive approach to enhancing overall skin quality, potentially leading to a more youthful and revitalized complexion.
