Dr. Dipa Patel, MD
Dr. Dipa Patel is an accomplished Board-Certified Medical and Surgical Dermatologist with over 20 years of experience in the Grand Rapids area. She received her medical degree with high distinction from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and completed an Internal Medicine Internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Dr. Patel completed her dermatology residency at the prestigious Department of Dermatology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. After working with a larger dermatology group for 12 years, she teamed up with Dr. Michelle Emery to open Dermatology at MidTowne PC in 2013. Dr. Patel's compassion and dedication to patients makes her a trusted partner in your care.
Leeann Kuehn, PA-C, MPH
Leeann Kuehn joined our practice in September 2019. After graduating with honors from Denison University, she completed a joint Master of Public Health and Physician Assistant degree from George Washington University, where she was named Outstanding PA Student of her class. Leeann underwent intensive postgraduate dermatology training with Dr. Michelle Emery and Dr. Dipa Patel. Leeann's commitment to providing inclusive care ensures that every patient who walks through our doors receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs and preferences, regardless of their identities and backgrounds.
Paige Pitynski joined our practice in May 2024. She completed her B.A. in Psychology at Michigan State University and went on to earn her Physician Assistant degree at Trine University. Prior to entering PA school, Paige laid the groundwork for her passion for Dermatology while working at a practice, where she acquired a profound understanding of various skin conditions, including skin cancer. With her extensive academic background and commitment to providing exemplary care, Paige is dedicated to building trust and ensuring every patient can achieve their skincare goals.
Dr. Michelle Emery, MD (Retired)
Dr. Emery is a founding member of Dermatology at MidTowne. Dr. Emery retired in August 2021 after practicing for over 30 years in Grand Rapids. After graduating Cornell University and medical school at University of Texas in Houston, she completed her dermatology residency at the prestigious Department of Dermatology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. We greatly appreciate her many contributions to the practice's success and wish her all the best in retirement.
